Marrying Someone from Russia
I have met someone from Russia, and we are considering a possible future together here in the U.S. What type of visa should she obtain to come to this country and, if things work out, what process will we need to follow so she can obtain employment and eventually obtain her citizenship? Her travel agency told her a B2 Visa would be what she needed to come to America, and the visa would cost around $350 in addition to their own $600 fee for a one-way plane ticket. I'd like to be sure she is getting accurate information (since I've offered to pay her expenses) and to be aware of what process and/or steps we must follow once she has arrived here in America. Thank you.

Re: Marrying Someone from Russia
A b2 visa will delay her permanent resident status application. This is because if she comes here on a business visa (which means -- no intention to stay) and subsequently she marries you, her action may be deemed fraud. Then she will have to go out of the country and she will not be allowed back for three years.
There are other ways you can bring her here. Call me at 310-880-9404. I want to know whether you have visited her in Russia already. I have very reasonable legal fees and I can get her the green card in reasonable time.
PS: tell her not to buy the ticket yet.
Re: Marrying Someone from Russia
If you already met her at least once, file a fiancee visa for her. When that's approved it authorizes her to come to the US. You must marry her within 90 days or she'll have to go back. Or, you can go to Russia to marry her, then come home and file the visa for a spouse.
We can help you with the process and have lots of experience with fiancee cases.
