Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

I am a newly naturalized U.S citizen,and I am planning to go back to my old country(philippines)to study for longer period of time,What are the requirements in order not to revoked my citizenship?

Congratulations on your naturalization!

There is absolutely no time limit as to how long you can remain outside of the USA. Staying abroad for a long period of time, can't be a reason for revocation of citizenship.

Make sure that you pay or report your taxes to IRS every year, even on income obtained abroad, etc.

Ditto. In order to lose your U.S. citizenship, you must intentionally revoke it in front of an official at a U.S. consulate. Also, it is a federal crime to give up citizenship in order to avoid taxes since U.S. citizens have world-wide tax liability and retain this liability even if they establish non-U.S. residency.
