hello! I am planning to petition my mom in the Philippines, but i filed for banckruptcy, would my petion be affected because of my banckruptcy?? i would appreciate your help. Thank you.

Petition - yes. However, at the second stage of the immigration process, after your petition has been approved, you will be required to sponsor your mother, execute an affidavit of support and provide your tax and income documents, etc.
