Legal Question in Immigration Law in California
Hi, Sir:
Could you let me know whether or not I am out of status? If I am, what options I have in order for me to stay in The United States.
I have been holding H4 Visa for three years. Three years ago, I formed a C corp. It's a small side business, so I don't have any employee. It has very few profit during the first two years, and I file tax return on time. I don't have any emplee, so I actually did all the work, even though it requires very minimal works.
My question is, did I do anything that I am not suppsed to do? If I did violated the law, what options I have?
Thanks

You violated your status because you had engaged into unauthorized employment. H4 is not authorized to work in USA (or start his own business).
As to your options to remain in USA permanently, assuming that you are married to a foreign citizen (H-1B visa holder), there are not many options.
Should you decide to schedule a telephone legal consultation, you can contact me at Attorney [@] law-visa-usa.com , or consult any other qualified attorney.
To correct this error, you will have to depart the U.S. and re-enter the U.S. on an H-4 visa or some other visa you might qualify for. From the facts presented, I can't tell.
