Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

My sister got engaged in india. when her fiance came to america they were married. everything was fine until he got his greencard then his behavior towards her changed. he started to physically and verbally abuse her on a daily basis. in a couple of months he will become a naturalized citizen. he tells her that he just married her to obtain legal status. and he is going to divorce her and go marry his girlfriend in india. in this kind of situation what can my sister do?

Get a divorce. There is not much else she can do at this point, after more than 3 years of marriage.
