Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

My wife is a u.s. citizen and we want to file a petition with immigration, but i want to know if i qualify for adjustment of status under the 245(i), on april 27th, 2001 my mother was petitoned by her employer and a form i-140 was filed for her. in that form i was mentioned as a traveling applicant. at that time i was only 13 years old, based on all this would i qualify for adjustment of status would i have to go through a consular process?

The 245i might be applicable, depending on circumsances. I need to know more about that petition and about your mother. Did she obtain a green card based on that I-140 petition? Was the I-140 approved? etc.

If your mother has an approved labor certificate filed prior to April 30, 2001, you might be qualified for 245 (i). We suggest you to consult with an immigration attorney.
