Legal Question in Insurance Law in California

collecting for damage to auto.

My truck was hit by another auto.The other person was at fault.when i had my truck checked out they said most of the problem was normal wear and tear.

But my truck did not show any problems untill the accident.

The Inc. company is only offering me a 3rd of the things that need to be replaced.

Plus well it was in the shop I had a rent a car and the bill got to $900 and they have not offered anything for that.

Help !!! Help !!!!!!!!!!!

Turn this in to your own insurer to get it properly fixed and for repairs. If your insurer won't help with getting the bills paid by he defendant's insurer, immediately sue the defendant in small claims. You will have to get your own repair estimates - go to someone you trust to do a thorough inspection since you won't be able to do this twice.
