Legal Question in Intellectual Property in California
Hi,
Can I use the keyword "apartments" on my landing page below my company logo even though the term "apartments"is trademarked?
As it is a generic word, I understood that as long as it is not confusing to the consumer, it might be OK.
Thanks!

I was not able to find a Federal trademark registration for the word "Apartments" and I doubt anybody could hold a valid trademark on such a generic and descriptive word.
