Legal Question in International Law in California

Hi, I am a Chinese male with a China passport. About 10 years ago, I got an U.S. visa to visit my wife and son living in the U.S. At that time, I committed a murder in America and was put on probation for 3 years. In order to avoid the probation, I returned to China. It's been 10 years now and my son is graduating with his PhD and I want to re-apply for a U.S. visa. How will my past crime affect this process? I also have a new wife and would like to bring her along with me. What is the fastest way we can both get a U.S. visa?
