Re: Statue of limitations
In California the time to bring a case against anyone will depend on the type of action (tort, fraud, negligence, etc.)and that time is governed by what is known as statutes of limitations, most of which are found in the California Code of Civil Procedure (C.C.P.) starting Section 335 and subs.

Re: Statue of limitations
Statute of limitations for fraud is 3 years. Malpractice is usually 1 year. On this type of case you need to move within a year of discovery. You may contact me.
