1099 funds owed at termination

I have a contract for compensation and was terminated two weeks later with the monies still owed. Does a 1099 have rights to collect before dismissal?

You may be able to enforce an actual "contract" if it is for a specified length/term and price that was breached by early termination. It depends upon the terms of the contract. If you just had a deal to work for certain compensation rate and were fired, you are entitled to pay for the time worked.
