no application, no signatures, terminated at 3 month review
I was terminated on 2/8/06 at 3 month review for an incident that occured on 1/25/06.The incident was for going to website and writing an email during business hours.I strayed to that site because our system was extremely slow while trying to scan the work in.At the end of the work day my boss asked me what I had done that morning.I explained all my duties.He said,''you know the owner has the ability to watch what you are doing via remote and he said that you were on a website this morning from 9:20-9:50.''I aknowledged that I had done that and gave my reasoning for going there while waiting for the system to come up to speed.I assured him it wouldn't happen again and I stayed an extra 50 mins. that night to make up the time,giving the emloyer and additional 20 mins of my time.14 days later the owner comes to CA he schedules 90 day review.At that time he terminated me stating ''because of going to that website.''I was denied EDD ins. because the employer states I was not meeting the quantity standards.They never told me I had to do X-amount of work.I have filed a unpaid O.T.,not getting my breaks,wage claim with labor board.This employer never had me sign anything,no apllication,never verified my SSN. Never looked at my Driver's licen

Pursue your unemployment and OT benefits. That's all you're going to succeed at.
