Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I applied for the physics test for the ARDMS. Previous employer (we did not get along) contacted ARDMS and made false allegations re me including providing my personal info name/ss#/prev. employment info I filled out on job appl. w/her co. I must appear before the ARDMS board to prove my innocense. I feel harrased & my privacy was violated. What are my rights? I am being treated guility rather than "inocent, until proven guilty" Do I have a case? Is this employment law confidentiality? (message not proofed, thank you).

If you can prove through credible evidence that confidential personal information was improperly disclosed without authority, or that false information [slander] was disclosed, and that disclosure harmed you, then you have possible grounds for legal action against them. Proof is the issue. If serious about pursuing action, feel free to contact me.
