Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I asked before can my boss boss call me the day before I am scheduled to work and tell me not to come in because they will be slow that day? All 3 who responded thank you. BUT if I have been there for 8 years & I am a F/T employee & they only chose me and no other co-workers is that legal. Also don't they have to give me 2 weeks notice of a schedule change?

It is perfectly legal. They have to pay you for 1/2 a regular shift if you show up and get sent home. Other than that, they owe you no notice and no compensation for a schedule change. Your length of employment has nothing to do with anything.
