Breach of Contract

We hired a consultant from another company to work at our client site and the two companies signed an agreement which explicitly states that the cosultant can't negotiate/take up employment with any of our clients for a period of 1 yrs after start of work. The consultant is joining our client and that would cause us loss within 2 months. Can we sue the concerned other company for damages and loss.

Yes, you have an action against the other company and the consultant. Quick intervention by an attorney may prevent the hiring, and solve the problem without suit. Contact me if interesting in doing so, or in filing suit.
