Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Break Violations

I drive a truck for a living. My company directs us to fill out our own time cards using work codes for each type of task ie: Misc, driving, break, end driving etc, etc. In California the employer get's fined if we don't code our breaks on the time card by the proper time, or not at all. My question is: ''Can we be disciplined verbally, written and then potentially fired if there are too many instances of not coding the break at the proper time, or not at all''?

Re: Break Violations

You can be fired any time for any reason as an 'at will' employee. Keep the company happy with you.
