Buisness Merger and New Partner Fired Me Because She Did Not Like Me
I have been gianfully employed by a California Corp. for 6 years. For the first 5 years the Corp. was owned by ''Corp A''. One of the partners decided to sell his share and one of the competitors bought the avaliable share. The new partner cannot obtain the proper operating permits so she is doing everything under ''Corp A''. She brought in all of her own staff members and immediatly promoted them to managment levels. She now has started to terminate the employment of most of the original employees of ''Corp A''. She is not majority shareholder. The reason given for my termination and at least one other ex-employee is because she has a ''personal problem'' with both of us a individuals. What action if any can be taken? Also the majority shareholder and original person from ''Corp A'' has now said that he will terminate the job of one of employees. I can see that this has turned into a ''who has bigger balls'' contest'' and it leaves me out of a job. Any help will be appreciated

The best advice is to get an experienced attorney to help negotiate, if possible, a seperation/severance agreement in exchange for waiving your claims of wrongful termination. Contact me if interested.
