Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Hello,

I am a business owner that employ less than 50 employee. The business is a manufacturing company that manufacture electronics. My company is constantly busy and needs alot of overtime from my employees to meet the high demands. I compensate all my employee's who work overtime by paying time and a half or even double time. However, recently I have an employee who is pursuing a legal lawsuit in suing my company for mental duress and insanity. He states that he is going insane due to all the overtime he is working.

I need your advise on who I need to consult with in regards to this matter.

Thank you.

Employees must bring such actions as a Workmens Comp claim, so contact your comp carrier and get their advice on this. You pay premiums so they will cover you and provide defense.
