Legal Question in Employment Law in California
( California ) I am a exempt salaried employee was injured on the job, a workers comp claim has been accepted I am on modified duty at five hours a day now my employer says he will no longer pay me eight hours when I am only working five, is this legal?

It sounds like your employer does not violate the law. He must comply with the modified duty restriction and accommodate your modified duty by allowing you to work fewer hours, which the employer does, but of course he doesn't have to pay for hours you do not work.
