Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I am a California salaried exempt employee. Each year I work between 30-60 days straight without time off. My employer states it's illegal to offer me "comp". Is this true? All my previous employers did.

Comp can be offered, of course. It doesn't have to be, nor does OT have to be paid if you are legitimately classed as salaried exempt. That's what they pay you the big bucks for. However, if you really aren't properly classed, then you have a claim for substantial OT, unpaid comp, interest, penalties, and attorney fees if you win. Contact me if serious about pursuing this.
