Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Is there a California Statute specifying upper age limits on commercial B and A licenses? Furthermore, can employers be charged with age discrimination by setting their own maximum age requirements for commercial licensed drivers?

The ADEA protects everyone over 40. However, valid business, safety and health reasons can justify mandatory retirement from jobs with safety aspects. At best this is a 'gray' area, depending on the actual facts.
