Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Hello,
In Californian must employees take a lunch break prior to the 5th hour of labor? If so is there any way around it?
Thanks

Employers MUST ensure employees have and TAKE a lunch break in the approximate middle of shift, and two other breads in the middle of the morning and afternoon. Failure to do so subjects the employer to lawsuit or claims with the Labor Commissioner for unpaid OT, penalties and interest. Feel free to contact me if serious about getting legal help in this.
