Charging employees for credit card usage

I want to know if it is legal for a

restaurant/nightclub to charge it's

employees 3.5% to offset their cost for

accepting credit cards at their

establishment

Of course not. The employees should file a complaint with the Labor Commissioner. Contact me if the employer retaliates, as that would be illegal.
