Legal Question in Employment Law in California

My name is Christopher Patterson, and I go through a temp agencie (Arrow Staffing) to help find work. About a month ago they sent me to this warehouse in Rialto, CA called Kaytee that I was supposed to be working at for a while. My second day at work a coworker was teaching me how to operate a pallet jack. When i was trying to pull the pallet jack one way it started going the other and my left leg ended up slipping off and the pallet jack smashed my leg into the wall. It wasn't a serious injury, but, they made me go home that day and go to the medical center to see if i was okay. The medical center said i was clear to go back into work the next day an that my leg was a minor bruise with a few cuts. I go down to the temp agencie to fill out papers and they said for me to go back to work to, when i leave the temp agencie they call me and tell me that Kaytee doesn't want me to work there anymore because i wasn't "fit" for the job. Is there anything i can do about this?

Probably not. The employer has the right to make decisions on what employees it wants to use. Their decision might be wrong but it was not unreasonable and was not based upon your having suffered an industrial injury, so it seems to be within their rights as an employer.

You have a WCAB claim for your injury, and ONLY that system can deal with the injury or your return to work issues. You could contact a WCAB attorney, but it sounds like you have no temp or permanent disability to claim.
