Legal Question in Employment Law in California

A company asked for my official school transcript during the hiring process. After determining that they are not a company that I want to work for, they chose to keep my transcript and not reimburse me for my college's fees. Now they do not respond to my emails and phone calls about my transcript and I just want it back. What can I do about this?
