Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Company refusing to honor stock option agreement

Resigned from company last June, had 90 days to buy additional options earned, and did. Company ignores all requests for financial information and additional stock certificate... not publicly traded so I can not check on it.Have one certificate for 10,000 shares and excercised thousands more, as entitled. Fellow employee was laid off about the same time they are honoring her request to exercise her options, even though she sent her formal exercise paperwork to them months past the deadline. Was injured on the job and have a pending WIP suit -- and still am on disability.

If you can't get them to comply, sounds like you need to hire counsel to exert pressure or threaten suit. Contact me if interested.
