Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Compensation Agreement Dispute

I left my employer, a national bank, on 3/30/2007 due to payment disputes on my compensation agreement totaling approximately 100k over the past 12 months. Are there attorneys who will work on a contingency basis for a relatively small damage amount? My former employer is also refusing to pay my last commission check over emails they claim I have, which I do not. Thank You, Scott

Re: Compensation Agreement Dispute

Yes, many attorneys will take such a case on a contingency basis. Look for an employment attorney in your immediate area.

I am currently handling a similar situation for a client who used to be employed by a national bank as well. The treatment he received was very similar to what you described in your message. Contact me if you would like to discuss this matter further.

Re: Compensation Agreement Dispute

100k is not small damages, thus attorneys like me would be happy to discuss contingency with you, assuming you actually have a case with merit and proof of what you claim. Feel free to contact me if interested.
