Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Contract Termination Clause
My company requires a 1 Month working notice before i submit my resignation. Due to certain reasons
i was unable to comply their requirement and i have resigned with immediate effect (2 day notice).
My company says that they would be taking legal action against me.
Is this something which i should be worried about or face a severe consequence.

Re: Contract Termination Clause
Without reviewing the contract there is no way to advise on your rights and obligations under the contract.
However, it is hard to believe an employer would sue an employee for not giving one month's notice. What would they hope to gain by the lawsuit? Chances are, it would cost more than the case would be worth.
You should have an attorney review the contract for specific legal advice.
Re: Contract Termination Clause
Tell them to get a life, that isn't going to succeed in court or elsewhere. Ask them if they guaranteed you 30 day notice before firing.
