Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was a sub contractor for my dad company, The School/person that hired us told my father that i couldn't work there anymore due to my age (23) and due to i was a male and they didn't fell safe with me around. Plus they made up sexual harassment claims and saying i was being let go for sexual misconduct when i been working there for 8 years. They refused to pay me for the days i showed up and was on suspensions leave without pay the campus has cameras everywhere and they refused to put anything in writing. plus they just did the same thing to a employ and he trying to sue them for almost the same charges. let me know if i have a case I'm out of a job and can't pay my bills.

You can file a claim for unpaid compensation with the Labor Commissioner if you were not paid for time actually worked. ONLY IF you can prove through credible and admissible evidence [and your word does not count as 'proof'] that false claims of illegal or immoral conduct were made about you, would you have grounds for a slander claim. Other than that, in general, unless an employee is civil service, in a union, or has a written employment contract, they are an 'at will' employee that can be disciplined or fired any time for any reason, with or without �cause�, explanation or notice. The employee's goal should be to keep the employer happy.
