Legal Question in Employment Law in California
denial of employment
I'm a nurse for over 20 years now. I recently applied at one of the hospital here in San Diego. I got the job and scheduled for a physical exam. A day before the physical exam the human resources called me that they've found a misdemeanor on my record which is related to violation of misusing the handicap placard. So HR told me to not got to my physical exam and re-apply when it is removed from my record. Is this right? Thank You.
