Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was discharged from my employment on 7/10 in CA. If I sign a Waiver and release form with a "General release of claims", do I forefit my right to fill a penalty claim for my employer not having my final paycheck until 6 days after termination, or my right to file for Unemployment Insurance?
