Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I was discharged from my employment on 7/10 in CA. If I sign a Waiver and release form with a "General release of claims", do I forefit my right to fill a penalty claim for my employer not having my final paycheck until 6 days after termination, or my right to file for Unemployment Insurance?

You should still be entitled to file for unemployment, unless the terms of the settlement agreement.say otherwise. All other claims will be 'released' by you signing.
