Employees are entitled to be paid the agreed hourly rate, plus overtime for over 8/40, plus have the normal benefit deductions made, and can get interest and penalties for nonpayment. You'd have to come to CA to file a claim with the Labor Commissioner and attend the hearings. Make a demand upon the employer to see if they will pay to avoid your filing.
