Due to the swine flu does my employer have the right to not allow me to work because of my race?

Were you fired? Was every person of your race, i.e. mexican, told not to come to work?

Well ...? If you can prove you are singled out because of 'race', then you would have a claim of discrimination. I'm not sure how the flu and race are related, but feel free to contact me if serious about pursuing a discrimination action. If the employer is claiming your 'race' or 'ethnic nationality' makes you more likely to have and spread the flu, that would be improper.
