Legal Question in Employment Law in California

employee insurance converage

My employer canceled my insurance benefits in July and I just found out from my employer in September. I have many doctor visits in August and September. What are my options?

Re: employee insurance converage

If the cancellation was improper [as it sounds like], then the employer could be liable for all the amounts the insurance would have paid. Improper would be in canceling only you, and without notice, and not part of company-wide change of benefits. Consult with local counsel for help in pursuing your claim against the employer. Contact me if you can't find local help.
