Legal Question in Employment Law in California

employee taping his employer without consent? Is it admissable in the CA court .

I have been employed for a tribal government since 9/4/01 and was promoted from Billing clerk to Human Resource Manager/Administrative Assistant in 11/01. For the last 6 month or more I have been subjected on a weekly/daily basis to gender discrimination, disparate treatment, verbal and sexual harassment, nepotism, and unreasonable levels of stress beyond the normal stress incurred within the content of my position duties. I feel know justice must step in, I have compiled a strong paper trail and as well have witnesses to attest to all documented racial comments, threats, etc. All supervisors have observed and are afraid to ''rock the boat'' for fear of losing their job/$.

I would like to see if I can close this whole horrible experience and tape my employer without consent. Does the California State Court System allow this as admissable evidence? It will be a open - shut case if this is admissable? I am still employed currently to date! Any help at this point would be great.

If you have witnesses to the alleged conduct, or some other means of proving your case, then you have a case worth discussing. There are serious legal risks to taping people without consent. There is no such thing as an "assured positive outcome", but if you want to discuss what it takes to prove a case, call. 714-960-7584
