Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Two of my employees was having an affair. The wife, also my employee (higher position), caught them and the fight broke out. What is it that I could do in my power as an owner?

Counsel, discipline or terminate any or all of them as 'at will' employees. Be fair and reasonable in treatment. Deal properly with any claims of 'discrimination' or 'hostile workplace'.
