can my employer cut my hours after i gave two week notice to leave the company

Not only can they cut your hours, they can let you go immediately rather than allow you to work the remaining two weeks. May not be fair, but it is not unlawful.

Yes, and they could fire you immediately. In general, unless an employee is civil service, in a union, or has a written employment contract, they are an 'at will' employee that can be disciplined or fired any time for any reason, with or without �cause�, explanation or notice.
