employer liability

If I am an hourly employee and my job requires me to use

my own vehicle and it gets damaged while performing my job

is my employer responsible for the repair of my vehicle?

It depends on what you mean by "damaged." If the nature of the work exposed you to the cause of the damage you may have a claim for reimbursement. However, if the transmission goes out due to normal wear and tear, it will not be subject to reimbursement.
