Legal Question in Employment Law in California

How do I enforce a Company that gave a 1099 through 2009 but will not pay my Jan. 2010 Inv. for $8,000.00 ? They are based out of Texas and I am in Ca. They set up an office in Ca. but have also not reimbursed me for the electrictricity.

Of the company has an office in California and you performed services in California, there should be no problem enforcing your claim in California and filing a lawsuit if necessary.

Sue them in CA court near the office and serve it there.
