Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I filed a EEoc claim that stem from a Wc case the EEoc found in my favor and sought remedy of training for my ex employer as well as monetary. my ex employer submitted a compromise with has a confidentialy agreement that thats I will agree to a binding abitration as well as pay 20,000 if violation of the confidentiality occurs. I don't feel comfortable entering into the confidentiality agreement with those stipulaiton because of my previous experience with my employer ethically their behavior was not good at all especially because I didn't have legal councel at the beginning. and I not sure if any laws was violated in their actions, because they compromise most of their cases therefore everything goes away.because of trhe confdenntiality clause I am not able to look at any other compromise settlement with this verbage include to know if this is FAIR FOR ALL INVOLVED. meaning me.
