Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I need to find out what rights I have as a live-in nanny. I work about 70 hours with Sat.- Sun off. I have injured both hands on the job and it's talking a toll on my over all health.

As with any employee, you are protected by WCAB laws and can file a claim for injuries. You can consult with a workers comp attorney, and get referrals from the local Lawyers Referral Service if nowhere else.

Your pay is also protected, and whether you are supposed to be salaried or hourly, if you contend you have not been properly fully paid you can file a claim with the Labor Commissioner. If you wish to get legal help in making the Labor Commission claim, feel free to contact me.
