"Fair" has nothing to do with it. You were fired for illegal activity on company property, well within their rights and obligation to do. Besides that, not only are there no laws against 'unfair treatment' or poor management, but in general, unless an employee is civil service, in a union, or has a written employment contract, they are an 'at will' employee that can be disciplined or fired any time for any reason, with or without cause, explanation or notice.
Let's see, you committed a crime out in public on company property, and other people did something perfectly legal out of public view, and that makes it unfair you got fired? Just exactly how is that? Oh, and by the way, Mr. Nelson is right; they could fire you for any reason at any time without any cause, explanation or notice, as long as it was not based on racial, gender or other discrimination specifically prohibited by law.
