fired and not paid

i informed my company that i had not been paid for hours worked, then i got fired and have still not been paid those hours plus other obligatory promises

If you were terminated b/c you complained about not getting paid, then you have a wrongful termination in violation of public policy claim. Basically, employers cannot fire you for complaining about wages, no matter how much you are owed. I would recommend that you contact me or another attorney on this site to pursue a claim against the company.
