Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I gave my two weeks notice and my employer told me not to come back. can is still get paid for those two weeks? if so, how do i go about it?

You quit. He walked you off immediately, as is his right. You don't get paid for hours you don't work. You also don't collect unemployment. Hope you have a job to go to.
