Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Ghost Employee

The owner of the company I work for

has had a nanny for his kid for a long

time and pays her from the company

payroll.

Is this legal?

She does nothing for the company,

only for his kid and his house.

The company gets projects from

cities that is funded by public money.
