Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Harassment at job, after maternity leave and overloading as if the expectation is working after office hours and week ends. Is their any law to sue the manager who does this?

California Government Code section 129400 et seq. (Fair Employment and Housing Act) protects employees from these types of abuses. Please contact me if you would like to discuss your situation further ([email protected]; 213-381-6557).

The manager, no. The company, yes, if you can show it is retaliation for taking pregnancy leave or some other form of illegal discrimination or a violation of law. It does 'smell bad'. If you are serious about pursuing this, and if you are in SoCal, feel free to contact me.
