Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Harassment/unfair treatment

I feel as if I am being singled out and harassed by my employer, although I am not doing anything different than any other employee but I am the one getting repremanded and threaten with termination. I am wondering what options I have to stop the harassing and to get them to leave me alone

I jjust want to get on with my job. It is extremely stressful and causeing me much anguish.

Unfortunately unless you are being singled out and harassed based on a charactistic such as race, gender, religion, age, disability, there is not much you can do except look for a new job.

Re: Harassment/unfair treatment

Simple harassment is not illegal unless based or motivated by Title VII civil rights issues such as race, religion, etc. Then it becomes "discrimination". If discrimination, you have legal remedies. If simple harassment, the best we can do is try to persuade the Company to improve the situation to avoid a WCAB claim for stress. Contact me if interested in discussing remedies, fees and costs.
