I would like to know which state's labor laws are applicable to me ie., which state's labor law employee rights am I entitled to? CA or PA?

I need this information because I have not been paid within 72 hours after my resignation, moreover I have been penalized with loss of pay for certain policy of theirs which was'nt part of Employee Handbook.

thank you

regards

The law of the state where you worked applies. The activity was done there and had to be consistant with that State's labor, other laws. Also, if you had to sue, you would have to sue back there.

If you worked in CA, then that is where you file with the Labor Commissioner. If they force you to transfer the claim to PA, then so be it.
