Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I just got hired with a company. My principle work site is at location A. I was just notified that for the next 9 weeks I will need to attend training, 5 days a week, at location B, which is 30 miles away. Upon completion of training I will return to location A to resume my principle work. Am I entitled to compensation while commuting to and from location B?

No. Travel from your home to your assigned work location is not chargeable to the employer even if they move your work location around.
